WHO WE ARE

Ithaca Based Licensed Speech Language Pathologists

Muriel and Jessica hail from different ends of the east coast but found their common ground as graduate students in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance at Ithaca College. They are both passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming, child-led, evidence-based, and culturally responsive therapy to help children succeed and communicate to their fullest potential. They are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ children and their families. They are proud to be a part of the Ithaca, NY community.

Muriel Quintana (she/her) is a licensed speech-language pathologist with The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence. She holds a New York State Professional Certificate in Teaching Students with Language Disabilities. Muriel has been providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adolescents in a variety of settings (public schools, clinics, preschools, daycares and homes) since 2013. Muriel specializes in speech sound disorders, gestalt language processing and is passionate about celebrating the perspectives of neurodivergent individuals. Muriel also holds a NYS bilingual certification.

Jessica Romans (she/her) is a licensed speech-language pathologist with The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence. Jessica has been providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adolescents in a variety of settings since 2013 (skilled nursing, hospital and acute care rehabilitation, public school systems). Jessica is passionate about speech sound disorders and the creative use of AAC to support multi-modal communication. She is LSVT certified. She holds certification in North Carolina and New York State and is dedicated to providing culturally responsive therapy to her clients.
